Amber Production Remedia – a 30-year-old Estonian alcohol producer Amber Production Remedia, formerly known as Remedia AS, is Estonia’s first privately-owned company established after the country regained independence. In 1991, it was granted the right to produce alcoholic beverages. Since then, Remedia has become the third-largest producer of strong alcoholic beverages in Estonia.

Since 2019, the company has been part of the Amber Beverage Group, the largest alcohol company in the Baltic region, and its name was changed to Amber Production Remedia.

Remedia is located on the northern coast of Estonia, in Harju County, near Lahemaa National Park with its pristine nature. The pure groundwater used in beverage production also comes from the same region. This groundwater, extracted from a depth of 55 meters in the ordovician-cambrian rock layers, is of high quality and equivalent to spring water.

Remedia started its production with light spirits, and its flagship product quickly became Kiiu Torn Munaliköör (Kiiu Tower Egg Liqueur).

This type of egg liqueur, made from pure natural ingredients, is exclusively produced by Remedia in Estonia.

The liqueur is named after Kiiu village in Kuusalu municipality, Harju County, where the Remedia production complex is located and where an historically valuable tower still stands. Kiiu Vasalinnus, or Kiiu Monk’s Tower, was presumably built around 1520 as a fortified tower house by Fabian von Tiesenhausen, the owner of Kiiu Manor. It is considered the smallest fortress structure in Estonia.

In 1994, Remedia became the first private producer in Estonia to receive a license for the production of strong alcohol.

They introduced Saare Gin to the market, followed by various vodkas. Today, Remedia’s product range has expanded, including various flavored vodkas, liqueurs, and cream liqueurs, as well as bottling brandy from France and rum from the Caribbean.

Remedia has extensive experience in producing Kosher alcohol products and holds licenses for organic product production and storage.

Thanks to its flexible production organization, Remedia also offers the opportunity to undertake private label for small and medium-sized alcohol batches.
